SWIM LESSONS

Nice cousinly love!
These girls dives make me laugh.  Brynlee takes the step-in approach where as Ellie take the leap of faith approach.
Ellie is quite the little fish and can't get enough of the pool.
She always comes up out of the water with a big smile on her face.

KID PICS

My stubborn little girl WOULD NOT take pictures unless she got to hold the chicken.
Go Figure!

SUMMER IS HERE!

Cooling off in the pool that is "just our size" as Ellie would say.
My little man laughing at the feeling he gets in his tummy when hes swinging
Ellie being a helpful Big Sister!
Crew at 6 months.  We are eating solids now, not that he needs to put on any more weight.  At his 6 month check up, he weighed a whopping 21 lbs. (98th percentile) That's my boy!
Oh how I love all his rolls!
Crew enjoying his afternoon nap on the swing.
How better could life get?
The girls playing in the sprinklers/hose and wanting to pretend like it was raining.
The best part was I could be outside watching them and not have to get wet:)

NEWEST ADDITIONS

For a little over a month now this stray cat has made my parents home a.k.a "the farm" her new home.  Probably because my daughter insists on feeding her and giving her attention whenever she get the chance.  She has even decide to name her Bella.
My mom hates cats more than anything, but tolerates this little feline because she has brought so much joy to a little granddaughter of hers and doesn't seem to bother with the chickens.
  Isn't she a great "ganma?"
Although when Ellie tries to sneak Bella into the house, it is a whole other story, ha!

Meet Norah, our German short-hair pointer.
Joel went to Utah the other weekend and decided to bring this back with him.  He's always talking about us needing a dog, but I continually tell him no because we are in no position to have a dog and I don't need another "baby" to look after.
Needless to say, he went against my advice a surprised us all with Norah.  Yeah, I love surprises! (that was sarcastic if you didn't get that).  Lets just say he didn't get any brownie points from me.
Of course Ellie instantly fell in love with her and Norah followers her everywhere, they play so well together. Its way cute so its hard to stay mad for too long. Not to mention shes a huge cuddlier.
Looks like she offically part of the family.

EASTER FUN

Friday night we decorated Easter eggs with the girls
(Ellie and Brynlee).
Since my parents have chickens we had plenty of eggs to work with and the girls thought it was so neat that they were using their chickens "special" eggs.

Sunday Easter egg hunt.
Unfortunately we couldn't find all the eggs and it wasn't until a few days later that they were found.  Good thing they were outside :)

MY LIL CHUNK!

So I took Crew to his 4 month check up the other day and discovered that I have produced a little chunk, a very cute one I may say though.  I cant get enough of his rolls (check out those ankle rolls). I love this kid! This little dude is officially wearing 6 month clothing and weighs a whopping 17.5 lbs.  He is in the 98th percentile for his weight and 95th for his height.  Lets just say he LOVES his milk:)
This is a pic of him next to his cousin Brody(left) who is a whole month older than him... yea, they weigh the same, Ha!

CURLY SUE

So Ellie has naturally curly hair, but now that it is getting longer its turned into more of a wave than a curl.  So for a few days El would tell me she wanted her hair curly.  I swore to myself after finishing hair school that I would never do another perm because I hated them, but I made an exception for this little sweetheart.  She watches me cut and color other peoples hair and always asks if I'll do hers, but I never do because I'm afraid it will make her look too big or I'll end up not liking it. Call me crazy, but I caved and permed this little girls hair.  She felt so big and special that I was finally doing hers.  I will never forget how excited she was even if it meant that I dint really end up liking it once it was done:(  Oh well, it was worth the experience and Ellie absolutely loves it so I guess that's what counts.

PHOENIX ZOO

3 moms, 3 toddlers, 3 babies and 3 strollers... we were on an adventure!
I guess you could say we were quite a sight.  There was even a time when all three of us moms were sitting on a bench feeding the three babies at the same time.  I'm sure it was hard no to stare, heck, if I was a bystander, I would;)  The kids had a blast and we were definitely ready for our afternoon nap when the day was done.

FUN IN THE IDAHO SNOW

All bundled up to play in the snow.  Burr!
Ellie was so excited to make her very own snow angle!
Sledding with cousin Carter.  I cant tell you how many times Joel and I hiked up the hill.
It was quite the work out :)
Ellie didn't really like the snowmobiling, I think they were too loud for her and
apparently mom goes too fast!
