CRAFTS!

So part of my new year resolution was to become more crafty. I have always enjoyed doing crafts, but either don't have the time or don't know where to even start. I look at other peoples blogs at some of the "crafty" things they have done and think to myself, how did they make that into that? Because I would have never though of it. Anyways, I decided to start out small with more simple crafts and work my way up. so here is what I've started with. I found this old cubbord at D.I. and decided to paint and sand it. (sorry I don't have before pics.) It matches our bathroom perfect and I'm loving the color green these days. I was also trying to figure out a cute way of displaying my jewelry and all of Ellie's hair bows. I've seen cute ideas here and there, but wasn't sure which ones to pick. My mom was getting ready to have a garage sale and while rummaging through her stuff I came upon these two gold picture frames. They worked perfect. I even had a little helper with all my projects.

CHRISTMAS

Like I said before, El's favorite show is called Yo Gabba Gabba. They play drums and many other instruments on it. Well of course she fell in love with the drum and before we knew it she was pounding on everything. So we thought what better present to give her then her very own drum set. She loves it and boy can that girl rock!
My brother Trever got an old scooter for Christmas. Everyone was stoked on it. El calls it a "vroom vroom". We took a family ride around my parent property. Oh what fun!
My parents got this bike for El and she couldn't have been happier. I wish i would have got a picture of her face when she unwrapped it, it was priceless.
Aunt Ky getting El all done up. She painted her toes and hands a beautiful hot pink, Yikes! Ellie was in heaven. Shes such a girl!

PONY RIDE

Ellie had such a kick out of this. She thought she was so big riding the pony or "horsey" as she likes to call it. Ever since Joel and I took her, I don't think there is a day that goes by that she doesn't ask to ride the horsey. Ha, what have we done?

PLAYING HAIR

I guess you could say Ellie has watched me a few times do other peoples hair, especially Taryn's, so she jumped at the opportunity to play with her hair. Doesn't it look beautiful?
