KARAOKE!!!

For family game night we all got together and enjoyed each others company and had a little fun with the karaoke machine. Ellie would try singing the songs, but usually just ended up making out with the microphone. I think she just liked hearing the sound of her voice. Not to mention, she showed us a few of her moves too, it as adorable.

FOURTH OF JULY

For the 4th we decided to go to the Idaho Falls parade. Ellie had so much fun. This fiddle float was her favorite. She was dancing like crazy to the music, it was so cute. She also loved all the horses and dogs in the parade and would desperately try to get to them.
Enjoying a yummy sucker that she got at the parade. She was a sticky mess!

We watched the fireworks over the Idaho Falls Temple. It was beautiful. Wish our firework pictures turned out better. We thought Ellie would be terrified of the loud noises of the fireworks, but she had a blast. Im sure it had something to do that we were outside and she got to run free. :)

HENDRICKS REUNION

Hiking upper Palisades (Joel & Whit)

We saw moose on the hike, which made the 8 hour 10 mile hike worth it. They swam across this whole lake. It was awesome!

Deedra, Joel, Jay and Ellie

Every year the "Hendricks" family gets together and spends a weekend doing all sorts of fun things for our reunion. Since its usually in Idaho, Ellie and I flew back to meet up with everyone. Plus we missed Joel way too much. Ellie has become quite a treat on planes and cant sit still for a second (well at least on my lap that is). For those of you who know Ellie know how extremely friendly she is a will usually go to just about anyone (a lil scary I know). Well the people around us were more than happy to take her up on her request to sit with them, I mean honestly how could you resist? It was so funny to see her go from one lap to another. Apparently whatever they were doing looked a lot more interesting than what I was doing. In return it made the flight very enjoyable for me. Thanks again to all those nice strangers. Anyways, the reunion was quite a hit. Its something we look forward to every year and feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family to spend time with. We love you all so much! We went bowling, had BBQ's, did a service project for Great Grandma and Grandpa Hendricks (tuned up their yard and cut firewood), went hiking, shooting, went out to dinner and had our very own drive in move in Jared and Brandes backyard. Thanks for all the fun!

LAKE ROOSEVELT TRIP

On the way to Roosevelt, Trevor let El listen to his ipod. She loved it so much she wouldn't let him have it back. She's quite the little dancer when she's listening to music too. The first night El cuddled with Trent on the Hammock before bed. She probable could have fallen asleep there if I would have let her. Oh how she loves her uncles...

Our next door neighbor had some goats and Ellie loved chasing them. She probably would have ridden them if they would had let her. She felt so big ridding around on the ranger. Grandma even let her drive. She's so spoiled!

For Fathers day weekend we decided to go up to our property in Tonto Basin and spend a few days at Lake Roosevelt. We all had such an enjoyable time. Ellie loved riding on the boat and watching us wake-board and tube. We tried putting her on a tube, but she wasn't too thrilled about that.

NIGHT SWIMMING

We decided to go swimming one evening after dinner and Ellie thought it was the coolest thing ever. Uncle Riley and Trevor went swimming with her. They would swim under the swim cover and scare her half to death. She wasn't really having that especially because she could see them underwater coming at her. Im just surprised she kept the goggles on, she looked so adorable.

BEST BUDDIES

So my parents have two little shitzus and Ellie absolutely loves them. I guess you can say she loves any kind of animal, but my parents little dog "Zoe" is by far her favorite. They have become quite the best of buddies. Ellie feeds Zoe all her food and then lets her lick the remaining food off her face. Dog kisses any one?

COUSIN BRYNLEE

While Aunt Tarryn was holding Ellie, she decided to lay her head on Tarryns Belly and talk to her cousin Brynlee. It was so sweet. She cant wait to have a new baby cousin. She would point to Tar's belly and say "Baby". Were all waiting anxiously for Brynlee to come any day now, so Tar have that baby already!!!

SWIM LESSONS

Ellie was able to take swim-lessons from both me and Grandma Wardrop while in AZ. She has become quite a little fish. She loves swimming and could do it ALL day long. She knows how to get the rings at the bottom of the pool, do big arms and dive off the side. Its the cutest thing ever.

PACKING

While packing our apartment up for our big move, Joel & I got sidetracked and weren't really paying much attention to Ellie ( I know, what good parents are we) and all the sudden we heard a little yell. We looked around for her and found her in the cupboards. She climbed in there all by herself and even managed to get the cupboard door closed. Once we found her and opened the door, she was so excited. It became quite the fun little game for her.

LITTLE DIVA!
